What is Wedmore Mens Shed?

Wedmore Mens Shed is a community based, friendly and welcoming meeting place where men come together and undertake a variety of mutually agreed activities.

The principal objectives of Mens Sheds include advancing the health and well-being of the participating men and creating opportunities for the men to contribute to their local communities.

Can anyone join Wedmore Mens Shed?

Mens Sheds are open to all men regardless of age, background or ability. It is a place where you can share your skills and knowledge with others, learn new skills or redevelop your old skills, or simply just a place to chat with friends

What activities do you offer?

As well as weekly meetings where you can just come along for a cuppa and a chat, there will be opportunities to use your skills working in a team on community projects. These might include construction, repair and gardening projects to help the community. There will also be day outs to sites of interests and activities and talks that may include fitness, arts/music and wellbeing.

How much does it cost to join?

It costs £40 to join for year (From each November).

This cost includes refreshments during meetings and access to projects and day trips (there is a small additional charge for some trips).
